Apple Day is one of the most anticipated events of the year as the iPhone giant releases new products and software. The buzz this time is the Apple Intelligence and the new iPhone 16 that will come with new camera technology and software updates.
Apple is also expected to reverse its parts pairing policy, which stops genuine Apple parts from being reused in its new devices. Presently, it’s impossible to put the battery of an iPhone 15 from one handset into another handset, because it hasn’t been authenticated by the company.
Company has been rebuked for the same because it means higher costs for consumers and repairs. And using new components time and again is not good for the environment.
Some consumers happily upgrade their iPhones, but some find it complicated and expensive. The same is true for MacBook and iPad users. If Apple implements the new policy, repairs will become affordable and simpler.
