Salman Khan Back As Sikandar In Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick 2’

One of the biggest blockbusters of 2014 Kick is set for a sequel namely Kick 2 starring Salman Khan as the main character Sikandar. Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house Nadiadwala Grandson confirmed this in a post on Instagram.

Kick (2014) was a comedy thriller that also starred Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda in the main roles. It was a remake of Telugu superstar Ravi Teja’s 2009 which was of the same name. Salman Khan had given fans a glimpse of his workout for the upcoming movie late last month, tagging it as #Sikandar:

Kick 2 is set to hit cinemas on Eid of 2025.

Salman Khan Entered Rs 200 Crore Club With a ‘Kick’

In 2014, with the success of Kick at the global box office Salman Khan entered the Rs 200 crore club for the first time. The movie cashed in Rs 372.50 crores at the box office worldwide. However, it did not receive raving reviews from fans.

Despite a 6.0/10 IMDb rating, fans said the movie was nothing extraordinary but rode high on Salman Khan’s star power. Plus the songs, including Jumme Ki Raat and Tu Hi Tu, were a superhit. And fans couldn’t stop raving about Jacqueline Fernandez’s gorgeous looks and dance moves.

There’s no doubt that Salman Khan is a superb entertainer and he resonates with his fans and gives movies worth the time and money. Let’s see what Kick 2 will rake in.
