Dive into the Best Web Series of 2023 on OTT Platforms. 2023 has been a great year for the web series on different OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, JioCinema. Some series ended in 2023, and some new series were also released this year. A lot of series were bad and a lot of series were good, but our entertainment editor choose only 5 web series from the year 2023.

5 Best Web Series Of 2023 Streaming On OTT Platform

5 Guns and Gulaabs (Netflix) (Rating: 7.7)

After giving a hit series, Farzi Raj and Dk again return with Guns and Gulaabs, which is also the best of 2023. The series is an anthology as it follows different people in the same city, but everyone has their own story. Which makes this series very unique. The series is set in a fictional place called Gulaabganj, where the government gives licenses to grow opium.

In Gulabganj, we see Tipu, a mechanic who becomes famous after killing neighbour city goons. Arjun Varma, a police officer sent by the government to stop the Opium mafia Ganchi. Chhotu, the son of Ganchi, is handling his father’s business after an accident. The story makes it one of the most unique series ever made in India, and believe me, it doesn’t bore you.

4 Gen V (Amazon Prime Video) (Rating: 7.8)

A teenage superhero drama series set in the Boys universe. The series follows a group of Supe (superheroes) at Godolkin University, who investigate one of their friend’s mysterious deaths. They find a truth that changes their perspective about other Supes and the university.

The series is brutal, bloody, gross, and explicit. Gen V is set in the Boys universe, but you don’t need to watch The Boys to understand Gen V. But I would suggest you watch The Boys as it’s one of the best superhero series out there.

3 The Fall of the House of Usher (Netflix) (Rating: 7.9)

I like drama more, and for me, Mike Flanagan’s best work is The Fall of the House of Usher. It’s mature, bloody, and gross. If you are a horror fan, then it’s the best watch for you. As the name suggests, the series follows the rise and fall of House Usher.

All the family members of House Usher die one by one in a strange accident. Which everyone thinks of as a normal accident, but it’s not. The show takes place in the past and present, showing what happened with the brother and sister duo Madeline and Roderick Usher, and how it’s affecting their present.

2 Farzi (Amazon Prime Video) (Rating: 8.4)

Raj and DK’s Farzi is one of the best Hindi series of 2023. The story follows two friends, Sunny and Firoz, who create fake Indian currency by themselves and distribute it themselves. They soon join hands with Mansoor, and their lives change drastically after this.

The series caters to every audience as the story has everything for everyone. You will see comedy, drama, thriller, and a good storyline that will hook you to the end. Aside from the story, the series also has a stiller cast such as Shahid Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon, Vijay Sethupati, and many more.

1 The Last of Us (Jio Cinema) (Rating: 8.8)

The Last of Us is an adaptation of the most-selling video game series Last of Us. The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where we see Joel, who lost hope after her daughter’s death. He gets a mission to escort Ellie, a teenage girl, who is important for the world cause as she is immune to the virus. The series stars Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Anna Torv, and many more actors.
