Budget To Lay Foundation For Viksit Bharat By 2047: PM Narendra Modi. The budget will set the direction of the next five years of the current government, says Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Addressing the media before the start of the Budget Session, he said it is a milestone budget of the Amrit Kaal. Modi added that the government is working on the guarantees.
PM Modi highlighted that India is the fastest growing country among the major economies with about eight percent growth in the last three consecutive years. He said opportunities are at their peak because of a positive outlook, investment and performance.
The PM asserted that their focus would be the country’s poor, the farmers, women, and the youth. He said no stone would not left unturned to realize the dreams and resolutions of a Viksit Bharat in 2047.
With the parliament starting its session, Modi urged all political parties to give opportunities to all members to highlight their views. He lamented the negative approach of some parties, saying many Parliamentarians in previous sessions did not get the opportunity to discuss their views and issues in their respective constituencies because of disruptions and protests.
Modi reminded the Parliamentarians that they have been given the mandate to serve the country because of the citizens of India, irrespective of the agendas of the political parties. He highlighted that the House is meant for the country. Modi added that opposing views are not bad, but negative views that hamper development are diabolical.
