Congress leader Rahul Gandhi warned the youth of Maharashtra that their land is being given to industrial tycoon Gautam Adani. He said their future and projects are being given away to Adani.
Rahul Gandhi hinted at Adani’s Dharavi project in Mumbai. In his website, Adani described Dharavi as one of the world’s largest urban resettlement and regeneration projects, wherein around one million people will be rehabilitated and resettled. But it’s not confined to residential units, there will be diverse establishments of various sizes and scales dealing with trading, shopping, and other business transactions.
Adani said the entire ecosphere and business fabric of diverse and distinct trades thriving in Dharavi will be rehabilitated and rehoused. He is working towards transforming Dharavi into a modern city hub.
Gandhi scoffed at the BJP’s slogan ‘ek hai to safe hai’ asking who is one, who is safe and whose is it safe. He said there is Narendra Modi, Adani, and Amit Shah, and safe Adani – alleging that the political machinery was steering all the help for one person in the Dharavi redevelopment scheme.
Rahul Gandhi highlighted that the people of Maharashtra and Dharavi are the ones who suffer loss. He said the Maha Vikas Aghadi government will protect the interests of the people of Maharashtra.
