The Hulk Mark Ruffalo pulled in an Avengers reunion of sorts in a social media clip to endorse Kamala Harris in the US Presidential Election 2024. The cast of Avengers, Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Paul Bettany (Vision), Danai Gurira (Okoye), and Don Cheadle (War Machine) #AssembleForDemocracy in the high stakes election.
The chatty video conference call has got Avengers buzzing up the fight for democracy and backing the Harris-Waltz ticket. Mark Ruffalo has been very passionate about the elections and urged voters to not sit this one out. He said it’s about one where Americans will lose big – Project 2025, women’s reproductive rights, climate change, LGBTQIA+ rights, public education, student debt relief, Affordable Care Act, Social Security, and life saving vaccines.
The Hulk actor believes that polluters will be back in charge if Donald Trump wins. He said they should be very much worried about toxic chemicals and wrong to think that Trump will do anything about them. Scarlet Johansson told Vanity Fair they have a lot of powerful people talking, hopefully create a bit of a viral moment for Kamala Harris.
Avengers’ Viral Gift to Kamala Harris
The Avengers star cast endorsement for Kamala Harris follows Billy Eichner and Will Ferrell wanting to give Harris a viral moment. In September, actress Meryl Streep hosted Oprah Winfrey at ‘United for America’ livestream and accidentally referred to Kamala Harris as the president.
The Devil Wears Prada actress asked Harris “I think you’re going to win, I’m sure you’re going to win…but what happens, when you win, and he (Donald Trump) doesn’t accept?” Julia Roberts and Jennifer Lopez have also given their support to Vice President Kamala Harris running for the Oval Office.
Other celebrities are now in the list of Kamala Harris’ endorsement include Taylor Swift, Linda Ronstadt, and Beyonce.
