Devara Review – Action + Twist is Super
Movie critic Taran Adarsh gave Devara three and a half stars. He said the movie has mass appeal and applauded Jr NTR’s extraordinary talent. Devara has a solid script, terrific action, efficient Saif Ali Khan, and superb with its action and twist.
For the Devara Hindi version, Adarsh highlighted that there was a low-key buzz because of the lack of popular music. But driven by Jr NTR’s popularity, positive word of mouth, and strong spot bookings, the numbers picked up.
Anupama Chopra gave her thoughts on Devara saying it’s ambitious exhausting and so high decibel that when it’s finished, which takes like 2 hours and 45 minutes, the audience might need to pause and reorient to reality.
Devara transports viewers to a remote coastal region with four clans set in the 1980s and 1990s.
