Mirzapur Season 3 Minus Munna Bhaiya: Was It Worth The Wait. Mirzapur 3 has not lived up to the expectations of fans given the adrenaline rush of its first season in 2018. While fans are impressed with Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal’s performance, they are unhappy with the storyline. Despite the needful action, power and deceit, fans are disappointed.
Mirzapur 3, streaming now on Amazon Prime, was one of the most anticipated series of 2024. The excitement is fizzling out. This is a low blow for the makers you had been keen to build it on the hype of seasons 1 and 2.
Fans have taken to social media to highlight their discontentment. One fan tweeted that they successfully wasted 9 hours watching Mirzapur 3. And another grieved about the absence of Munna Bhaiya. Fans said Mirzapur is not very interesting without Munna bhaiya. Others believe the character’s chapter is over as his wife lit his funeral pyre.
One fan said Munna bhaiya is alive and will be featured later on in the series while another says Kaleen (Pankaj Tripathi) will be dead, killed by Guddu. As fans play volley on social media, and decry Munna bhaiya’s absence, they cannot help but be captivated by this cult-like Mirzapur series.

Ali Fazal Delights Mirzapur Fans with His Character Guddu Pandit
Ali Fazal holds his own space with his Guddu Pandit character and has received applause for the same. The character is dark, bloody and vengeful. Stakes are high in Mirzapur 3 but the rules are the same.
All have their eyes on the Mirzapur throne, but no one can be trusted. Life is always on the line. The characters in the latest season have more layers and plunge deeper into the story.
Ali Fazal says the characters experience power, struggle, manipulation, action and derangement. He explained that they are spread across a huge spectrum, whereby the viewers get to enjoy every character’s portrayal.
Gurmeet Singh, Mirzapur 3 director, highlighted that season 3 is all about power and politics. He believes power does strange things to people and this is evident in Mirzapur.
