Stree 2 Song Aaj Ki Raat No.1 For Six Weeks, Running In 8th Week On Billboard

Though an item number, Aaj Ki Raat, a song from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2, is on everyone’s lips. The song voiced by Sachin-Jigar, Madhubanti Bagchi, Divya Kumar, and Amitabh Bhattacharya, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia is a craze.

Aaj Ki Raat has been running for eight weeks on the Billboard, and was positioned at number one for six consecutive weeks. And on YouTube, it has garnered more than 350 million views.

The music composer duo Sachin-Jigar have been churning out one hit after the other – Akhiyaan Gulabi (Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljah Jiya), Tainu Khabar Nahi (Munjya) and Aayi Nahi (Stree 2).

Sachin, in a recent interview, said this is what they have been working for, love of the audience – great music and songs. Jigar noted that there are times when the film works but the music sinks, and times when music is a hit but the film tanks. He said everything looks so aligned when everything works, and this is exactly what has been happening with recent films having their music – it’s magical.
