Vettaiyan Gets 8.5/10 IMDb Rating

Despite mixed reviews, director Karthik Subbaraj’s film has been rated a whopping 8.5 by IMDb. The filmmaker said Vettaiyan is an intense social drama with strong views about the judiciary. The movie is powered by superb Thalaivar moments. Subbaraj highlighted that it was a treat to watch two legendary actors Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachachan on the same screen.

However, the storyline has been criticized. No doubt about the star power, Vettaiyan is about a police officer Athiyan, played by Rajnikanth, who is an encounter specialist. Satyadev, played by Amitabh Bachchan, is against Athiyan’s encounter killings. Not to give away the story, you should watch the film and share your reviews.

Vettaiyan also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and GM Sundar, among others.
