Elon Musk And Vivek Ramaswamy To Lead DOGE – Department of Government Efficiency

Date:

US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Space X CEO Elon Musk and fellow Republican Vivek Ramaswamy as head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). With this, Trump has fulfilled his campaign promise to have the tech billionaire in his government.

The 47th President of the United States said Musk and Ramaswamy will work together to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies.  He likened it to ‘The Manhattan Project’, which Republican politicians have dreamed about for a long time.

Trump said Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will provide advice and guidance from outside of the Government, partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget for large-scale structural reform, and also create an entrepreneurial approach to Government. This will create a more efficient US government to make life better for Americans.

The President-elect added that the DOGE will drive out the massive waste and fraud that exists in Government Spending, liberal the US economy and make the government accountable to ‘We the People’.

Elon Musk And Vivek Ramaswamy DOGE

Musk said all actions of the Department of Government Efficiency will be posted online for maximum transparency. He urged the public to keep a tab and nudge them when the Department cuts something important and holds back on something wasteful. Elon Musk highlighted that there would be a public leaderboard to track the spending of tax dollars.

Vivek Ramaswamy said DOGE will soon begin crowdsourcing examples of government waste, fraud, and abuse. He highlighted that the people of America voted for drastic government reform and they deserve to be part of fixing it. The Department of Government Efficient is touted to be the first US federal program whose goal is to eliminate itself – it will shrink the government, not grow it.
