Donald Trump might rope in billionaire technopreneur Elon Musk in his administration if he wins the upcoming US Presidential Election. The former US president said he would offer Tesla CEO either a Cabinet position or an advisory role.

Trump has realized the importance of having a ‘smart and intelligent’ Musk on his team and wants to tap into his potential. Moreover, the presidential hopeful lauded the SpaceX CEO as a very smart guy, brilliant guy.

Meanwhile, Musk, 53, has also hinted at his willingness to join American politics. He tweeted “I am willing to serve” on X (formerly Twitter). This caught the attention of fellow Republicans and Americans alike. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a far-right Republican, said she is ready to follow Elon Musk working for Donald Trump if Americans are ready.

Elon Musk Could Lead Government Efficiency Commission

If Trump indeed wins the second term, word is that Musk will be offered a position in the so-called government efficiency commission. The former US president had also mentioned this during the live chat on X last week.

Musk said the government efficiency commission would ensure that taxpayers’ money is spent in a good way, and Trump had replied that he was keen to have the billionaire onboard. This was followed by both criticizing the government’s overspending.

Elon Musk And Dogecoin

If Musk does join politics, the Dogecoin community would be the first ones to celebrate. Over the years, Musk has shown his support for the meme coin and highlighted its potential despite it being volatile.  If Musk steps into politics, Dogecoin could see significant price gains. Tesla stocks would also go up. Furthermore, brands would return to X and so on…but then, will Musk make a good politician?
