Despite conducting a strategic and vengeance-filled attack on Iran on October 26, Israel has spotlighted the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz says Iran is more exposed than ever to damage to its nuclear facilities. He told the IDF General Staff Forum that there is a possibility to achieve the most important goal – thwart and remove the threat of annihilation.
Last month, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran chief had brushed off concerns about strikes on the country’s nuclear facilities, saying their defense and security capabilities have been maintained at a level to deal with every threat. Mohammad Eslami said Iran’s nuclear facilities are under protection and safeguarded.
On October 26, Israeli raids (ballistic missile barrage) struck the Islamic Republic’s S-300 air defense missile systems. Israel’s new Defense Minister said the vulnerability of Iran’s nuclear sites made it more plausible for Israel to achieve the most important goal – remove the threat of annihilation.
