Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will have a lot on their plate if either of them is elected into the Oval Office come November 2024. There’s a lot at stake in the United States and the world, especially the ongoing wars – Gaza and Ukraine.
Domestically, the United States is at a turning point in terms of immigration, gun violence culture, drugs, and abortion. Americans want a president who will lead the country through the good and the bad, a leadership that the US is proud of and the world looks at it for guidance.
Under President Joe Biden, the world has seen two wars – the Russia-Ukraine war and Israel’s Gaza war – that have brought a shift in power dynamics and countries circumventing sanctions to maintain relations with the Kremlin and protests calling for Israel to back off and end the Gaza war for good.

Kamala Harris – Donald Trump Debate
Vice President Kamala Harris and former US President Donald Trump have come face-to-face for the US Presidential debate hosted by ABC News and moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis. They debated on many issues in the US and around the world.
Abortion was one of the flashpoints, wherein Trump claimed that the Democrats support killing babies after birth. Harris brushed it off as another ‘bunch of lies’ by Donald Trump. It should be noted that Harris supports federal legislation which allows abortions until a fetus could survive outside of the womb, and termination for medical reasons. Moreover, she was the first White House official to visit an abortion clinic.
Another major flashpoint was the Israel’s war in Gaza. The Republican threw off Harris using strong words, saying that ‘she hates Israel’. Trump said if Harris becomes president, Israel will not exist within two years from now. Last week, the former US president told a meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition the same thing.
However, Harris said that Trump was again playing the ‘divide and distract’ tactic that is far, far away from reality. She said the Gaza war must end immediately, and for that to happen there must be a ceasefire deal and hostages released. The vice president called for a two-state solution and gave her support for Israel’s security.
