Not The Joe Biden Of 2010: George Clooney Wants Democrats To Name A New Presidential Nominee. George Clooney co-hosted the single largest fund-raiser in June for President Joe Biden’s re-election but now he wants the Democrats to name a new nominee for the upcoming presidential election. The Hollywood celebrity in an op-ed in the New York Times said he loves Joe Biden as a senator, a vice-president, and president, considers him a friend and believes in him.
But he highlighted that Biden cannot win the fight against time. Clooney said the Biden he was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe ‘big F**king deal’ Biden of 2010. The Midnight Sky actor said he wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020.
Clooney says Democrat leaders need to stop telling 51 million people that they didn’t see what they just saw. He added that they are so all terrified by the prospect of Donald Trump winning a second term that they have opted to ignore the warning sign right before their eyes.
The Joe Biden Age Factor
The two-time Oscar winner highlighted that it’s about age and nothing else and it cannot be reversed. Clooney believes the Democrats will not win in November with Joe Biden. They won’t even win the House, and lose the Senate too. This is every Americans’ opinion.
Clooney say top Democrats – Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and Hakeem Jeffries, among others, need to ask Biden to voluntarily step aside. He reminded the Democrats that they don’t anoint leaders of fall sway to a cult of personality, but vote for a president.

Pelosi, the former speaker of the House of Representatives, said it’s up to Biden to decide if he is going to run. She said they are encouraging the president to make that decision because time is running short. Pelosi added that whatever decision Biden makes, the Democrats will go with it.
End the Drama Already
Earlier this week, Biden, 81, asked the Democrats to end the drama and get behind him. He said only the Lord Almighty could force him out. However, fellow party members are concerned about the president’s mental acuity and physical stamina.
Senator Michael Bennet believes their Republican rival Trump could win by a landslide, and take the House and Senate along if Biden continues. The party believes Biden can’t serve another four years.
