Afghan Taliban Forced Over 1.4 Million Girls Out Of Schools, Took Away Dreams Through Bans. If the Afghan Taliban continues with its education ban in Afghanistan, more than 4 million girls and women will be hit by 2030. Since they took over in August 2021, more than 1.4 million girls have been forced to leave schools, public, and private universities in the country.
