Mikati said the world is a witness to what has been happening. He urged the Council members to call for the cessation of Israeli aggression and to respect Lebanon’s sovereignty and the safety of the Lebanese people.

Lebanon’s Health Minister Firass Abiad said 51 people were killed and over 200 injured in the ongoing attacks. He highlighted that attacks over the past 24 hours have been intense as Israeli warplanes attacked the southern areas.
