Millions of devotees across the world gathered in UP’s Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh 2025. This is touted as a once in a 144-years event which will continue until February 26. About 1.5 crore devotees took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on the occasion of Makar Sankranti today.

Uma Bharti, senior BJP leader, praised the UP state government on X (formerly Twitter), saying she has never witnessed such excellent arrangements. She applauded the arrangements, security, facilities, and the remarkable polite demeanor of the administration and police towards the pilgrims.
