The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is operating smoothly despite its notorious leader being in jail for more than a decade. Lawrence Bishnoi is being held up in Sabarmati Central Jail regarding a cross-border drug smuggling case.
After the Lawrence Bishnoi gang murdered popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in May 2022, the ring has once again surfaced for the killing of Mumbai politician Baba Siddique. The NCP leader was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East, Mumbai.
And now an India Today report claims that there’s a hit list that is made up of celebrities, politicians, and gangsters alike. Lawrence Bishnoi’s primary target is Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The gang moved their guns to Tiger actor for his alleged involvement in the 1998 black buck shooting case in Rajasthan.
The gangster, during his court appearance in 2018, threatened Khan publicly – “We will kill Salman Khan in Jodhpur, everyone will know once we take action’. Then in April 2024, Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s members fired multiple shots out of Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s younger brother Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the firing. He is wanted in India and is hiding somewhere in the US.
The hit list also contains names like Shaganpreet Singh, manager of the late Sidhu Moosewala, Zeeshan Siddique, and Munawar Faruqui, as well as gangsters Kaushal Chaudhry, Amit Dagar, and Mandeep Dhariwal.
